Are Ward and Zampella trying to make nice with Treyarch?

Most of you have seen the court docs for the lawsuit.

I find it quite interesting that W&Z are wanting control of any CoD title in the post-Vietnam era, present time and near future. Are they showing the olive branch to Treyarch after IW repeatedly screwed them over with CoD 3 and CoD 5? Or are they trying to do some closed door dealings with Treyarch in the wake of their removal from IW?

I thought it was because they didn't want to get in trouble with Treyarch, nothing more nothing less. They don't want more enemies? Or do they?

If they're burning their bridges with Activision to the ground, they would have been better served to sever them completely and fuck Treyarch like they had been when they were in IW still.

They're playing kid gloves with Treyarch for a reason. What that reason is, I don't know.

Re: Are Ward and Zampella trying to make nice with Treyarch?

I think they are just trying to screw Activision, not Treyarch. They are saying that they want the rights to CoD to any game that takes play after the Vietnam War. Therefore, Activision will be forced to have Treyarch continue to make games from the Vietnam War and back without changing the name from CoD, and Treyarch probably won't be able to make a popular non-CoD game. Then the new MMO that Activision wants also has to be before Vietnam, and the general assumption is that it would be a modern game. That would screw their plans for that.
